Toraja, Discover the Sacred Highlands
Toraja, also known as Tana Toraja, is located in two districts in South Sulawesi province, Toraja District, and North Toraja District. In Toraja, there is a tribe known as Toraja tribe who live in the mountains with the original Austronesian culture similar to the existing culture in Nias, North Sumatra. The uniqueness of Toraja cultural tradition and belief that is still holding firm that one of the attractions of Tana Toraja and make Tana Toraja as one tourist destination in South Sulawesi.
Wakatobi National Park, Indonesia
Wakatobi is a National Park area located in Wakatobi Regency in Southeast Sulawesi province. Wakatobi National Park with a total area of 1.39 million hectares is the second largest National Marine Park in Indonesia after Raja Ampat National Marine Park in Papua. The Wakatobi National Park consists of four archipelago clusters, Binongko islands, Kaledupa islands, Tomia islands and Wangi-Wangi islands.
